Practice Tests for Faculty

For many tests, candidates will be given free access to a full-length online practice test with test registration. The online practice test includes multiple-choice questions and written constructed-response assignments(s), if applicable, representative of the actual test.

Eligible faculty may purchase these practice tests for use in helping with test preparation. Purchasing these practice tests allows you to:

• view the actual practice test that candidates will get when they register and encourage them to make use of this resource as they prepare to take an MTTC test
• review candidates' practice test results to assess their readiness to test and to help guide further candidate preparation

Purchasing a Practice Test

Eligible faculty may create an account on the website and purchase online practice tests for faculty for $19.00 each. Once purchased, the practice test will be available in your account for two years.

Appropriate Use of MTTC Practice Tests

MTTC practice tests are intended to be used by candidates as they prepare for their MTTC test. By purchasing a practice test, authorized users agree that they will not, directly or indirectly, disclose the practice test items to any unauthorized person(s) or entity. Other uses such as for individuals not preparing to become a Michigan teacher are prohibited. The practice test includes proprietary information and must be used for its intended purpose to help candidates prepare to take the MTTC. If the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) or Pearson has reason to believe that you have used the practice test items in other ways, you may be prohibited from purchasing a practice test.
